Overview
SchedulePro requires each employee to have a unique email address and password for web and mobile access. This can be challenging for workers whose organizations cannot provide a dedicated company email address due to costs, the use of temporary labor, or policy reasons.
We have developed an alternative credential-granting method leveraging the Plus Addressing capability (e.g., firstname.lastname+number@company.com) commonly available in Microsoft 365 or similar email services.
You can provision new SchedulePro login credentials without creating a dedicated company email address for each employee.
Password Generation
SchedulePro has the option to generate passwords that you can assign to each employee profile. The seniority field in the employee record is used as a preset value for the password, along with the configured email address.
- The value in the employee profile field used to autogenerate the password will be linked at employee record creation. Any changes to the seniority field after creation will not impact the value of the password.
- The value set in the employee profile field used to autogenerate the password needs to be numeric.
