Qualifications and Proficiencies are used when your employees have certain skills or tasks that are certified and require constant practice to remain proficient. If your organization is set up with this feature, you will have access to this report.
Accessing the Report
- Select View Reports from the Home page
- Scroll down to the Employee Info section and select Qualifications and Proficiencies
Select the start date and manage filters, then select View Report to see the results
Filtering the Report
The report can be run to show shifts already worked, or shifts scheduled into the future. When trying to determine someone's current proficiency as of the start date, you will want to deselect includes shifts that are scheduled by not yet worked. This box should be selected if you are trying to determine proficiency within a given period.
Include scheduled shifts that have not been worked

Date of Last Shift Worked - X number of Min Shifts Req (Date) + # of Days to meet Proficiency
Ex: 4/28/24 - 3 Days back = 04/26/24 + 365 days = Dec 18, 2024 Proficiency Valid Until Date
Shifts Counted/Needed is calculated by:
30, 60, 90 Days Dates - # of Days to meet Proficiency = Shifts Counted Total
Minimum # of shifts needed within the next 30, 60, and 90 days from the date of the report = Shifts Needed Total
Ex: 30 Days from 12/21/23 is 1/20/24, which means the Count of Shifts will be from 1/20/23 - 1/20/24.

Example of the Report and the Proficiency Valid Until report and Grace Period:
If the Grace Period end date is in the past and the Proficiencies as of the Start Date of the report (in this case 2018-01-01) are NOT being met, then the Grace Period end date is populated in the Proficiency Valid until column as we see in the example with the 2018-01-10 and 2017-12-12 below.
If the Grace Period end date is in the past and the Proficiencies ARE being met as of the Start Date of the report, then the date populated in the Proficiency Valid Until date will be the Start Date of the Report PLUS the time frame to meet proficiency (rolling days) set in the Proficiency Policy; In the case of for Ashen Blunden on Line 3 it is 60 days being added to 2018-01-01.
If the Grace Period end date is in the future (in this example, for Polly Benwell Line 2 it is 2018-02-02), the Proficiency Valid Until date will be the Start Date of the report PLUS the time frame to meet proficiency (rolling days) set in the Proficiency Policy; in this case 45 days from 2018-01-01.
